Cookie Policy

Effective date: April 3, 2025

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones lnbay uses, and how you can control them. By using lnbay, you agree to the use of cookies as described here.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners about how their site is being used.

Cookies can be first-party (set by lnbay directly) or third-party (set by external services). They can also be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored for a set period).

2. Cookies We Use

lnbay uses a minimal number of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

Essential cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for lnbay to function. The site cannot work properly without them and they cannot be disabled.

NameTypePurposeExpiry
auth_tokenEssentialKeeps you signed in to your lnbay account. Stores a signed JWT that identifies your session. Set as HttpOnly so it cannot be accessed by JavaScript.7 days (or 24 hours if "Remember me" is not checked at login)

Third-party cookies

lnbay loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may set or read cookies as part of this request, though we do not control or have access to any such cookies. Google's own Privacy Policy governs that interaction.

We do not use cookies from advertising networks, social media platforms, or analytics providers such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar services.

3. What We Do Not Use Cookies For

lnbay does not use cookies to:

  • Track your browsing activity across other websites
  • Build advertising profiles or serve targeted ads
  • Collect analytics about page views or user behaviour via third parties
  • Share your data with social media networks
  • Fingerprint your device

4. How to Control Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The steps vary by browser:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Please note that if you delete or block the auth_token cookie, you will be signed out of lnbay and will need to log in again.

To block Google Fonts from loading, you can use a browser extension such as uBlock Origin or configure your browser's content blocking settings.

5. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, lnbay may use the browser's localStorage or sessionStorage for lightweight UI state (such as remembering filter selections during a browsing session). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of lnbay after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

7. Contact

If you have questions about this Cookie Policy, please reach out via the Contact page.
